Volta Region’s Agblor Lodge wins Digitalized Hotel of the Year award

Agblor Lodge Beach Resort has emerged the winner of the Most Digitalised Hotel of the Year Award (Budget Category) at the just ended fifth edition of the Ghana Hotels Association Awards held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.The prestigious awards were in recognition of the proprietor of the hotel’s dedication and commitment to building the hospitality industry as well as being a highly respected advocate for best practices in the tourism sector.

Speaking to the media after receiving the award, the proprietor of the hotel, Regent Godwin Kodzovi Ahadzi, founder of , expressed gratitude to the staff of the hotel and their cherished customers for the award.”I am very excited to see this day. I am indeed grateful to the Almighty God, the award organizers, Government, my able staff and most especially my cherished customers. I want to say a very big thank you to the owner of the Aborigines Beach Resort for his unflinching support always,” he said. Regent Kodzovi Ahadzi took the opportunity to urge customers both locally and internationally to keep visiting the award-winning hotel at Keta in the Volta Region at their leisure for comfort and security.

The event saw lots of industry players including Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mark Okraku Mantey coming together to synergise and pull resources from each other to promote a high level of ethics within the sector.

In November 2021, it won the Best Beach Resort of the Year in the Volta Region Award, organized by the GHA, Volta Region Branch.
