From his hole, a mouse came to go to his friends when he saw a mousetrap. On seeing it, he said, “Aha! There have put this trap here for us. Humans think they are the wisest animal on earth”. What he saw was a small box with a hole under it. A rope was passed through the hole and tied to a stick which also carries a slice of roasted meat. “Is it wise mice like me that they will use this trap to get? Never! Never!! They want to catch whoever gets into the box to eat the meat. Yes, the box will automatically close when one touches the meat. Me, I know this trick already. But do you know apart from the taste, roasted meats smell nice?”
Not able to resist the fine aroma of the meat, he decided to enter the box, not with the intention to eat the meat but to only smell its good aroma. So he entered the box. But as he smelled the meat, his too-long mouth touched the meat. Immediately the box closed on him and what happens next? He was foolishly caught.
